North London Derby Giveaway and Pav’s ‘Psychological Issues’

So it comes to air today that our potential complete striker, (in an attack full of specialists), is suffering from a crisis of confidence due to Harry’s insistence on only giving him fringe chances in the squad. Whilst this is a disgustingly obvious piece of media work from Oleg Artemov who as an agent can only assumed to be looking for another healthy 10% to put the final down payment on his gold plated Lexus. The truth is; if he hadn’t had such an issue with getting the language under his belt this would have arguably never even happened as Harry’s words of encouragement have fallen on deaf or at least confused ears.

By looking at the goals that Pav has scored for us; they’re all great finishes, the majority of which (in The Carling Cup) would have been preceded by a calm; ‘let’s see what you can do’ no pressure team talk. So I guess we ca come to the conclusion that Roman is the epitome of a confidence striker and as such to have him in this place; whoever is to blame isn’t great for the club. This especially as we approach the away fixture of our North London derby ties for the season; isn’t the greatest headline for Sky Sports to warm up our approach to the derby; though it might take the edge off Keano’s suggestion that our team is much stronger than Arsenal; which may be true on a player to player basis, but maybe not so much in regards to the ‘sum being more than the parts’. This is something that will be tested on Saturday; which promises to be an amazing game one way or the other. Three points of course would result in the majority of Spurs fans jumping off the wall at the humble pie we’d be serving the Gooners.
